25th Anniversary, May 1950?

From left, Harry Santee, blacksmith James Bouril (owner of Bouril Blacksmith Shop on Spring Street from 1934-1960), and butcher Abe Rakow (owner of Rakow Grocery, where POPS worked stocking shelves, running the cash register, and making home deliveries) celebrate the 25th anniversary of the South Elgin Fire Department. James was also the grandfather of Sue's friend, Becky, who lived with her father, Ralph, brother, Jimmy, and grandfather in the house/apartment above the blacksmith shop.
