Ping & Adam's kittens, July 1957? (5/6)

Ping's four kittens hang out in a basket sometime around 1957. "When Ping (formally 'Sao Ping Ping,' a registered purebred) was a little over a year old, Fran contracted with another Siamese cat owner to get 'stud service' from a cat I only remember as 'Adam,'" David says. "I don't remember his formal registered name. The picture you sent is of two of their progeny. I think Ping had four kittens. Fran sold 2, gave one away to Ruby Bracket, her old friend in Effingham, and we kept one. The one we kept we innocent children called 'Kinky' because of the prominent kink at the end of his tail. His formal, registered name was something like 'Nai Cholla,' or maybe that was Adam's name. The whole process of arranging for Adam, raising the kittens, etc., proved unprofitable. Ping and been acquired with an eye to making some $$, and Fran hoped that being able to rent Kinky out would be easier. That never happened, so Kinky was just a happy, pampered, and neutered house kitty."
